Farmerama

The friendliest farm in a web page, and the most forgiving of a day off.

Plant, harvest, feed, breed, sell. Crops run on timers you can plan an evening around, animals produce while you are away, and the community is older, chattier and kinder than most. Once a day is enough. Nothing punishes absence, and the seasonal events are frequent but honestly optional.

Barnyard Bills buy land, speed and rare seeds, and most people farm without them. The presentation is dated and the icons are small. I did not care; it is the game I opened when I did not want to think.

Everything Rowan says is true and the depth column is still the lowest on this site. By the end of week two I had seen the loop and the loop did not change. That is fine for what it is; I just want the score to say what it is.

The market and the chat are the best parts, and they are the parts that are made of people rather than mechanics. Polish I marked down a little further: the interface shows its age on a laptop screen and is awkward on a phone.

Where the fold closes

A gentle, forgiving farm with a warm community and modest depth. The best thing here for someone who wants to tend something once a day and never be punished; not the thing for anyone who wants to be challenged.
