Responsible play
When it stops being fun
Both of us have, at some point, set an alarm for a building timer. Most people play these games for years without trouble; a few find the game has started to play them. This page is for the few.
Signs worth noticing
- Waking to check a timer, or setting alarms to collect something.
- Spending money you had not planned to, or hiding what you have spent.
- Feeling anxious rather than merely disappointed when you cannot log in.
- Skipping sleep, meals or people for a round.
Things that help
Read the "per visit" and "visits" lines in a note before you start, and pick a game that fits the week you actually have. Turn off push notifications. Decide a monthly spend before you open a shop, if you spend at all. Take a fortnight off and see whether you miss the game or the habit.
